On the 24th June, 18 walkers took on the challenge to walk either 13 or 16 miles climbing all three of the Surrey Peaks to help raise vital funds for BRIGHT cancer. Luckily the June heatwave subsided just in time for the walkers and everyone managed to make it back in one piece, albiet a few toenails were lost! The team were lucky enough to be joined by Sir Paul Beresford ( MP for Dorking) who turned up to show his support. The event was a staggering success and between this event and the Ride for London almost £12,000 was raised.
