Other Ways to Support BRIGHT
There are many ways to support the vital work BRIGHT do. Here are a few ideas. If you would like any further information please get in touch by clicking on the ‘contact us’ button.
2. Fundraising for BRIGHT
Please consider raising money for BRIGHT when undertaking an event. We have supported places on RideLondon–Surrey, the London Marathon, the Swim Serpentine, the Surrey Half Marathon and the Surrey Three Peaks. We are also happy to source charity places for other events and support you with any new fundraising initiatives. For all our upcoming events see our events calendar above.
3. Charity of the Year
Are you a member of a club such as golf, tennis or bowls? Please consider nominating us to be the charity of the year. BRIGHT was delighted to be chosen as Charity of the year at the Clandon Regis Golf club in 2019.
4. Giving a Gift in Kind
BRIGHT is always looking for raffle or auction prizes for our events, all donations are very gratefully received.
5. Leaving a legacy
Even just a small gift in your will can help the charity’s work in the future. We would be happy to talk to you about leaving a gift and answer any questions you have.
6. Shopping Online
Feel Good Shopping Online
You can register with ‘Easy Fundraising’ so when you shop online with any of their 3,254 shops and sites they pass on the commission for your purchases as a donation to BRIGHT. Easy!
Don’t Send me a Card
Through the www.dontsendmeacard.com website you can send eCards and donate the cost of those greeting cards to BRIGHT.
7. Corporate sponsorship
Help us in the fight against cancer by considering nominating BRIGHT for any company match funding schemes/charity of the year. The Mace Foundation very kindly provided match funding for an event in 2018 in central London that in total raised £14,409.25.
8. Guildford Community Lottery
Guildford Community Lottery is a weekly lottery that raises money for good causes in Guildford and BRIGHT are excited to be one of the lottery’s charities.
Tickets for the lottery cost just £1 per week. Each ticket has a 1 in 50 chance to win a prize each week, with a top prize of £25,000!
Each ticket will consist of 6 numbers and there will be a draw every Saturday night. Prizes will be given to players with tickets that match the first or last 2-6 numbers from the winning combination. Match all 6 and you win the JACKPOT! Download the leaflet here.
