Miss Angela Riga has been a Consultant HPB Surgeon at the Royal Surrey County Hospital since 2011. She graduated from the University of Athens. During her post-graduate training she worked in several HPB units including Royal Free Hospital, Royal Surrey County Hospital,  King’s College Hospital, Royal Marsden Hospital. She spent six months as a clinical lecturer in pancreatic surgery in Dublin and she did a travelling fellowship at the Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Hospital in New York. She was awarded an MSc from UCL in surgical science for work on liver transplantation and reperfusion injury. She specialises in liver, pancreatic and small bowel cancer as well as benign conditions of the liver, gallbladder and pancreas.
