Cancers we support

We specialise in funding research and equipment that supports patients with gastrointestinal cancers and hepato-pancreato-biliary cancers. You can find out more about our specific work in bowel, liver and pancreatic cancers below.

If you’d like to help us fund this critical work – either research or treatment – just visit our Support page where there’s more information about how you can help.

Bowel Cancer

Bowel cancer is probably the best-known of the gastrointestinal cancers. It’s the fourth most common cancer in the UK. Statistics show that 1 in 17 men and 1 in 20 women will be diagnosed with bowel cancer.

Liver Cancer

Primary liver cancer is very rare in the UK, although we are seeing a rise in diagnoses. Secondary liver cancer is more common – where cancer has spread to the liver from another organ.

Pancreatic Cancer

The pancreas is part of your digestive system. It aids digestion and helps to regulate blood sugars. Around 10,500 people have a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer each year in the UK.
